It’s been an exciting month for us here at The Optical Gallery, and I wanted to share a few updates with you. Every year, opticians from across the UK and Ireland gather at the Grosvenor House Hotel on Park Lane for the prestigious Optician Awards. It’s a wonderful evening to celebrate the industry’s finest, and we’re thrilled to say that The Optical Gallery has been recognised once again!
Last year, we were honoured to be nominated for Best Fashion Practice, and although we just missed out, it was a fantastic experience. This year, we’ve not only been nominated for Best Fashion Practice once again but we’re also up for Best Independent Optician! The awards take place on 22nd November, so please keep your fingers crossed for us. It’s a testament to the dedication of our entire team, and we’re grateful to all of you, too, for your continued support – we couldn’t do it without you.
In other exciting news, we’re expanding our services across all three of our locations in Chessington, Cheam, and Twickenham. We’re introducing audiology services to complement our eye care offerings! This means we’ll soon be able to assist with your hearing health as well. The new services will include free hearing checks (for a limited period), ear wax removal, and a range of cutting-edge hearing aids. It’s something we’ve been preparing for, and we’re looking forward to welcoming you for hearing care before the end of the year. As part of this expansion, we’ve also decided to update our branding. My brothers and I took over our family business around ten years ago, and while you may have noticed a few changes over the years, we’ve always kept the same logo. However, as much as we’re sentimentally attached to it, we felt it was time for a refresh. We wanted something that was easier to read and clearly conveyed who we are – a family-run, independent optician and, now, audiologists.
You might notice three dots in our new logo – these represent us, the ‘3 brothers’, a name we gave to the eyewear we design in-house. It also represents our 3 locations and our dedication to eyecare, audiology, and style. 3 really is the magic number at The Optical Gallery.
We’re excited to share these changes with you and look forward to introducing our new audiologist soon. As always, thank you for being part of our exclusive community – we can’t wait to see where the future takes us, and we’re glad to have you on our journey.
