Meet Paris K: A Designer to Watch in Independent Eyewear
Our latest YouTube video is now live, and this one is a little different.
At MIDO in Milan, we caught up with Paris K, a freelance independent eyewear designer whose work is already appearing across some seriously interesting brands. In this video, we walk the show together and look at selected pieces he has helped shape, including work connected to Parasite Eyewear, Paloceras, VAVA Eyewear and Flama Eyewear.
For us, this was less about a formal interview and more about shining a light on a designer we believe is worth watching.
Paris K is part of a new wave of creative talent in eyewear. His work moves between artistic statement pieces, 3D printed design thinking, and brand-specific collaborations that still carry a recognisable design signature. That is what made this conversation so interesting. Even across different brands, you can start to see how a designer adapts while still leaving something of themselves in the work.
In the video, we explore the Cortex by Parasite, Hydraceras by Paloceras, VALOR SS26 Couture by Paloceras x Robert Wun, his work with VAVA Eyewear, the introduction of Flama Eyewear, and a discussion around the wider landscape of 3D printing in eyewear. We also touch on Paris K’s private label direction, giving a glimpse into what may be coming next.
For those who enjoy knowing the people behind the products, this is a great insight into the mind of an independent designer working across some of the most visually interesting corners of modern eyewear.
