The Götti Homby already possessed a beautifully restrained confidence. Its rich Bordeaux acetate didn't need competing with—it needed lenses that would enhance its warmth, preserve its elegance and feel as though they had always belonged.

Rather than introducing bold contrast, this commission focused on balance.

Technical Interpretation

The commission began with bespoke Marma progressive lenses, individually designed around the wearer's prescription before colour became part of the composition.

A 20% graduated brown tint was selected to introduce gentle indoor comfort while subtly warming the visual experience and complementing the rich Bordeaux acetate.

Outdoors, Marma Dinamica Brown gradually transforms the lenses into comfortable sunglasses, maintaining warmth, enhancing contrast and naturally adapting to changing light conditions.

The final finishing layer was Marma Glamour coating.

Chosen for both optical performance and cosmetic appearance, Glamour introduces a subtle golden residual reflection that echoes the gloss and richness of the acetate while reducing reflections, halos and glare, making the lenses particularly comfortable for everyday wear and driving.

Every layer was selected to complement the next.
